Frequently Asked Questions
Thank you for leasing an apartment with EGR Properties. A few of the most common questions asked by tenants are answered below. If you need further assistance, please call our office between 10-6 Monday through Saturday.
When can I move in?
It is important to coordinate the date and time of your move-in with our office so the apartment is in proper condition upon your arrival. Once you do move-in, we recommend that you fill out completely the move-in checklist and return to our office within 10 days. This checklist can be found on our website at: Move-In/Out Checklist.
When can I pick up my keys?
Once you have obtained a copy of your lease and security deposit has been paid in full, arrangement for pick up of your keys can be made through our office. Leasing agents can meet at the building to distribute the keys or they can be picked up at our office.
Who do I call regarding repairs or other problems?
We strive to ensure that every apartment is in the best condition for when you move-in. If the apartment requires repair or cleaning, we will urgently work to accommodate those needs. Please contact the office with all maintenance requests. A form can be submitted directly from this website by selecting: Maintenance Request. We will make every effort to reply within 24 hours to all apartment repair requests.
What utility companies do I have to notify?
At least one week prior to your move, you should contact the companies to ensure service is set up upon your arrival.

When do I have to be moved out?
We require all tenants to have the apartment empty and cleaned by 5 pm of the last day of their lease. This allows management to inspect the apartment and ensure it is proper condition for the new tenant. If you cannot be moved out completely by this time, you must contact the office; otherwise, deductions could be made from your security deposit. Please see the Move- In/Out Checklist on this website that will be used by management to review the apartment condition.
Where do I drop off my keys?
We must receive all keys within 24 hours after your move-out. You may drop the keys off at our office or arrange to meet a leasing agent for their return.
When will I get my security deposit back?
To receive your security deposit back, a Forwarding Address / Security Deposit Return Request form must be filled out with your forwarding address prior to your move-out. All security deposits with interest will be returned within 45 days.
